Francis C. Mayle, Jr.
was born in New Jersey and attended Georgetown University in Washington, DC. where he also received his post-graduate degree in neurophysiology.
He was a member of
the medical staff at a number of Washington-area hospitals, and was an
assistant clinical professor at Georgetown University. Dr. Mayle served on the
board of governors of Georgetown University, and was president of the
Montgomery County Medical Society. Dr. Mayle had a private practice
specializing in neurophysiology.
Dr. Mayle was the chair of
the Council and Executive Committee of the Medical & Chirurgical Faculty of
Maryland, and was elected President of the medical society in 1978.
