Frank Frick Bronze Plaque

Frank Frick was a Baltimore industrialist and businessman in the late 1800’s. His connection to the Faculty was through his late brother, Professor Charles Frick,

who died in 1860, as well as Dr. George Frick

and his Sloane ancestors  including Charles Sloane.

Mr. Frick and his family contributed the funds to endow the Frick Memorial Library at the Faculty. At their request, a room was set aside for this use in which they had installed a bronze tablet sculpted by Hans Shuler,
and a handsome oil portrait of Dr. Charles Frick.
