J. W. Humrichouse

J. W. Humrichouse was born in Baltimore in 1849. He was educated at St. James College in PA, received his AM at Pennsylvania College in Gettysburg, PA, and his medical degree from the University of Maryland in 1873. He also studied in Europe.

His practice in Hagerstown was limited to diseases of the eye, ear, nose and throat. He was also a member of the staff at the Washington County Hospital, and one of the founders of the Washington County Medical Society. 

Dr. Humrichouse was a Vice President of the Medical & Chirurgical Faculty in 1891, and became President in 1915.

There is no information on Dr. Humrichouse's date of death.
