Baltimore’s huge Artscape art and music festival takes place this weekend right on our front doorstep – literally. We’re surrounded by the festival, but it’s hard for us to participate in it for myriad logistical reasons. However, we want to participate as a member of the community, so again this year, we are installing our own little art exhibition.
The front doors of our 1909 building provide an excellent platform for displaying some of our artworks. Using my mad Photoshop® skills, I took several of my favorite paintings and printed them out with their information.

In addition to the portraits, We will have several smaller panels explaining who MedChi is and what we do that benefits the community. We know that our steps are a popular place to sit and rest (it’s a shady spot for much of the day), so it’s a good educational opportunity!
